Rugged Displays

  • Powerel flat panel Displays are adaptable to extreme environments. They are made to withstand harsh ambient environments, enhanced shock and vibration and provide Electromagnetic Environmental Interference protection.
  • We offer a range of rugged Flat Panel displays ranging from 5.7” to 65” diagonal, specifically designed for the rugged COTS marketplace.
  • With the ability to custom build rugged displays according to precise specifications, Powerel has the solution for any display needs. We offer displays with various mounting options like Panel / Rack / Table, with other available enhancements including touch screen, High brightness, Night mode, colour and finish.
  • Our displays are fully ruggedised to meet severe testing under military specifications like Sealing rated IP67 (Optional), EMI/EMC 461E/F, Vibrations and mechanical shocks as per MIL-STD-810F standards.

VME / VPX / cPCI & Customised Enclosures

Powerel offers complete system enclosures with power supply unit and backplane, fully assembled, pre-wired and tested. With a modular design approach, Powerel can offer virtually unlimited VPX,VME, cPCI or Customized chassis configurations for 3U and 6U boards. The enclosures come in 2U-4U horizontal-mount (for 6U boards), 4U-5U vertical-mount (for 3U cards), and 7U, 9U, and higher chassis (for 6U boards). Powerel also provides conduction-cooled and customized enclosure solutions.

Portable Generators

Powerel has a wide range of generators which ensures emergency and battle readiness thereby giving you the ability to operate in some of the world’s most extreme physical environments.

These generators have been designed with a focus on extreme & high-altitude operation up to 5000 meters MSL with a wide operating temperature from -30° to +55° C. Acoustic noise less than 86dB at full load. We ensure unparalleled operations for prolonged hours of duty. We have acclimated our exceptional military grade technology and engineering platform for use in challenging military and defence applications.

Uniterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

Powerel offers a full array of Rugged True Online UPS Systems to suit any commercial, industrial, or military application, including those that require UPSs which can withstand Military Environmental Standards such as MIL-STD 810.

These Rugged UPS systems are available in rack mount, freestanding or wall-mount NEMA cabinet, and custom enclosure configurations to suit applications with tight space constraints. Any standard voltage (single or three-phase) can be accommodated in 50, 60, or 400 Hz frequencies, and most models can also act as Frequency Converters, changing a given input voltage and frequency to a different pure sine wave output voltage and frequency in conjunction with the usual battery back-up capabilities.

COTS Ruggedisation

Powerel products are available in multiple levels of ruggedization – commercial, rugged, in two mechanical/thermal formats: air-cooled and conduction-cooled. Our off-the-shelf military rated boards are capable of withstanding high shock and vibration, with many products available in extended temperature ranges.

What’s even more beneficial is our designs are 100% hardware and software compatible across multiple levels of ruggedization. This enables you to prototype and test commercial level units more economically, then upgrade to military ruggedization levels quickly, easily, confidently and cost-effectively, without having to change your application software.

Card Cages

Powerel Card Cages comes in a both shock isolated card cages and vertical/ horizontal configuration card cages. These card cages come in custom designs as per the requirement of the customer with forced air cooled/ convection cooled options. They support a variety of options such as OpenVPX / VPX / VME64x or cPCI Backplane
